Total number of villages affected-73 villages
Counseling and support services for children.
ð A team of 15 trained staff are counseling and identifying children who need specific assistance.
Sponsorship and Family Support
ð Our staff are identifying orphans, single parent children, and children at risk, who need financial support to stay with their families and continue their education. We believe this program will prevent trafficking, child labour and school dropouts. As of this date our resources permit us to sponsor 750 children .
Repairing & Refurbishing Schools
Our staff are presently in the process of identifying schools in the area which needs assistance
Livlihood Assistance
Chinoorpettai, with a population of 248 persons was totally devastated and cut off from the rest of Nagapatinam District. After discussion with the community leaders we have placed orders for fish nets worth Rs 18,00,000 which will be supplied by next week.
